Annemari Coetser
Biographical info

Annemari Coetser was born in Durban on September 29 1945. Sy matriculated at Indwe High School in 1962 and obtained a Lower Diploma in Library Studies at Unisa. She started working in Bloemfontein and also lived in America, Namibia and Pretoria. Annemari worked as librarian for many years, wrote Siembamba stories for the radio and published a few short stories in magazines.

Her interests include travelling, taking photos, watching movies and reading. In 2006 a few of her short stories were published with the stories of three other authors in the anthology Viersprong. Annemari’s novel, Oop Kaarte, was a finalist in Sanlam/Insig’s Groot Romanwedstryd. It was published in 2007. Her second book, Langverlof, was published in 2008.
