Yolanda Dreyer
Biographical info

Yolanda Dreyer was ordained in the Nederduitse Hervormde Kerk in 1981 and was the first female minister in the Afrikaans churches. She was student minister in Pretoria, and later minister in Nelspruit and in a Dutch-language congregation in Johannesburg (where she is still involved part-time).

Since 2000, she has been professor in practical theology at the University of Pretoria. She contributes regularly to the column “Godsdiens-aktueel” (“Topical religion”) in Beeld.
