Jacqueline Leuvennink describes herself as a carrier of tales – from stories that touch the heart to those about things that are sometimes left unsaid.



Jacqueline spent ten months at the Army Women’s College in George before completing a BA degree in English and Psychology at Stellenbosch University. After studying and travelling in Europe for a year, she started her journalism career in 1977. She worked at Die Burger and Sarie and then became a freelancer, contributing to magazines such as Insig, De Kat, Visi, Rooi Rose, Lééf and Lig.

Jacqueline is married to Jaco and lives in Kleinmond. She has two grown-up sons.
