The story of how our species originated - from the Big Bang, the formation of stars, our sun and the planets,  cells forming and life forms evolving to the first apes, and the role of archaeological discoveries leading to our knowledge of our human predecessor, Homo erectus. It tells of fossil evidence of Homo sapiens dating back about 200 000 years,  and how we developed from hunter-gatherers to farmers and later to first civilisations of India and the Middle-East.
